 What We Like

The first thing that struck me when I saw this stool was its cool, contemporary style.  It’s actually quite a simple design, but it looks sleek and sophisticated.  I was pleased to find the seat upholstery is made of vinyl, as it’s really easy to keep clean.  No matter how careful I try to be, I always seem to spill my drinks or miss my mouth when I’m eating, so I like the idea of having wipe-clean seats in the kitchen.  It’s nice to have a padded seat and backrest, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time sitting on your stools, and it’s an added bonus to have ones that aren’t going to get stained or dirty. 

The wooden frame feels sturdy and solid.  From sitting on it I get the impression it could stand up to all sorts of use and abuse.  It’s comfortable too, and I particularly liked the footrest - it was just the right height.

 What We Don’t Like So Much

I definitely like the contemporary style and I think the rich cherry red frame goes well with the brown vinyl seat.  However, it’s a bit of a shame that there’s no other choice of colors for either the wood finish or the vinyl.  The rather dark colors of this stool might be too dominating with some décor and might not be to everyone’s taste.
