Seaside Casual - Adirondack Shell Back Outdoor Bar Chair
 What We Like
I think this is a useful variation of a traditional Adirondack chair. It’s made from recycled plastic bottles and containers, so it’s good for the planet and I’m pleased to see it doesn’t need all the care that a wooden chair would. The material it’s made from is called EnviroWood, which it’s claimed can stand up to all kinds of environmental conditions – bright sun, extreme temperatures and rain. I find the sloping seat very comfortable and roomy, and like the sturdy arms and footrest. It’s good that it’s available in a range of colors.
This bar chair doesn’t look quite as good as real wood furniture, but this should be balanced against the fact that it’s maintenance-free and should last for years. Also, it needs to be assembled before you can use it, but that’s very straightforward and didn’t take me long. |
